My Quiet Was Not Silence
There have been seasons when I was visible, hosting podcasts, teaching on YouTube, and going live on Facebook. And there have also been seasons when I was quiet. I have always had a complicated relationship with social media, so I come and go. But even in those quieter seasons, I was never truly silent.
For quite some time now, there has been a stirring within me, something far greater than my comfort, visibility, or personal preference. It has been persistent and undeniable.
My quietness has not meant blindness. I have been watching, listening, and discerning. And what I have seen has deeply troubled me. Much of what is being placed on display in the name of Christ and the Kingdom does not reflect Him. In many ways, it stands in direct opposition to the very reason the Church exists.
Through private conversations, group discussions, and prayerful reflection, I have witnessed error being embraced as truth, pride presenting itself as power, and brokenness being labeled as breakthrough. The confusion is no longer subtle, and it is no longer rare. It has become familiar, and that should concern us all.
Recently, I have been reading and listening to a notable theologian and prophet, and it has stirred the prophetic within me again. Many people are searching, but they do not always know what they are looking for. There is a desire for truth, but a lack of discernment. There is a hunger for righteousness, but uncertainty about what or who to trust.
Over the years, I have often said that my pen writes for me, to me, and through me. And now it is time to allow it to move again. Not to contribute to the noise, but to bring clarity, wisdom, and truth to waters that have become far too unclear. Mixture was never meant to be this common, and error was never meant to feel this normal.
As tempting as it may be to begin by addressing what is wrong, wisdom calls for us to first establish what is right. Foundations must be laid, and they must also be examined.
So over the next few months, I will be teaching on YouTube on Sundays at 7pm EST and writing here on Substack on Thursdays through The Purpose Series. Together, we will walk through Ephesians 4, examining the purpose of the believer, the function of the Body, and the intent of the Fivefold ministry.
This journey is not about popularity or opinion. It is about returning to the pure Word of God.
I invite you to join me. Engage with the teachings, sit with the readings, and take time to examine the foundation.
He is speaking. I am writing and listening.
